The Bridge feature on GDEX.pro allows you to exchange cryptocurrencies across different blockchains, providing a seamless cross-chain experience.

Accessing the Bridge Feature

The Bridge feature is accessible from the main navigation menu at the top of the GDEX.pro interface. Simply click on "BRIDGE" to access this feature.

Understanding the Bridge Interface

The Bridge page features a clean, intuitive interface centered around the "Exchange crypto" functionality. This interface is designed to make cross-chain transfers as simple as possible.

Key Elements of the Bridge Page

1. Exchange Crypto Section: The main interface for cross-chain transfers

2. You Send Field: Where you specify the cryptocurrency and amount you want to send

3. You Get Field: Where you see the cryptocurrency and amount you will receive

4. Currency Selection Dropdowns: Allow you to select source and destination cryptocurrencies

5. Exchange Button: Initiates the cross-chain transfer

6. Transactions Section: Displays your transaction history

Performing a Cross-Chain Transfer

To exchange cryptocurrencies across different blockchains:

1. Navigate to the BRIDGE section

2. In the "You Send" field:

   • Select the source cryptocurrency from the dropdown (e.g., SOL)

   • Enter the amount you wish to exchange

3. In the "You Get" field:

   • Select the destination cryptocurrency from the dropdown (e.g., ETH)

   • The amount you will receive is automatically calculated

4. Review the exchange details

5. Click the "Exchange" button

6. Confirm the transaction in your wallet

7. Wait for the cross-chain transfer to complete

Supported Cryptocurrencies and Blockchains

GDEX.pro's Bridge feature supports multiple cryptocurrencies and blockchains, including:

• Solana (SOL): Fast, low-cost blockchain with growing ecosystem

• Ethereum (ETH): The leading blockchain for decentralized applications

• Other EVM-compatible chains and tokens

The exact list of supported cryptocurrencies may expand over time as GDEX.pro adds support for additional blockchains.

Understanding Exchange Rates and Fees

When using the Bridge feature, it's important to understand how exchange rates and fees work:

• Exchange Rates: The rate at which one cryptocurrency is exchanged for another

• Network Fees: Fees charged by the respective blockchains for processing transactions

• Service Fees: Any additional fees charged by GDEX.pro for facilitating the exchange

The "You Get" field automatically calculates the amount you will receive after all fees are deducted, providing transparency in the exchange process.

Tracking Your Transactions

The Transactions section at the bottom of the Bridge page allows you to track all your cross-chain transfers. This section includes:

• Time: When the transaction was initiated

• From: Source cryptocurrency and blockchain

• To: Destination cryptocurrency and blockchain

• From Amount: Amount of source cryptocurrency sent

• To Amount: Amount of destination cryptocurrency received

• TX: Transaction hash or identifier for verification

This transaction history provides a clear record of all your cross-chain activities.

Security Considerations

When using the Bridge feature, keep these security considerations in mind:

1. Verify Addresses: Always double-check that you're sending to the correct address

2. Start Small: When using the Bridge for the first time, consider starting with a small amount

3. Processing Time: Cross-chain transfers may take time to process depending on network conditions

4. Network Congestion: High congestion on either blockchain may result in longer processing times

Troubleshooting Common Issues

If you encounter issues with the Bridge feature:

• Transaction Pending: This is normal, especially during periods of high network congestion

• Failed Transaction: Check that you have sufficient funds to cover both the exchange amount and network fees

• Incorrect Amount Received: Verify the exchange rate and fees at the time of the transaction

• Wallet Connection Issues: Ensure your wallet is properly connected to GDEX.pro

To use the Bridge feature, you'll need to connect your wallet to GDEX.pro. Refer to the Getting Started section for instructions on connecting your wallet.
