Discovery Feature

Discovery Feature

The Discovery feature on GDEX.pro allows you to find new token pairs in real-time, providing comprehensive information to help you make informed trading decisions.

Accessing the Discovery Feature

The Discovery feature is accessible from the main navigation menu at the top of the GDEX.pro interface. Simply click on "DISCOVERY" to access this feature.

Understanding the Discovery Interface

The Discovery page displays a table of new token pairs that have been added to the platform in the last 24 hours. The information is updated in real-time, ensuring you have access to the latest opportunities.

Key Elements of the Discovery Page

The Discovery page includes the following elements:

  1. Filter Options: At the top of the page, you can filter tokens based on various criteria

  2. Quick Buy Toggle: Enable or disable quick buying functionality

  3. Amount Presets: Quickly select common purchase amounts (0.5, 1, 5)

  4. Token Table: Detailed information about each token pair

Token Information Columns

The token table provides comprehensive information about each token pair:

  • Pair Info: Token name, symbol, and contract address

  • AGE: How long the token has been available

  • Liquidity: The amount of liquidity in the trading pair

  • MKT Cap: Market capitalization of the token

  • Volume: Trading volume over a specific period

  • Buy/Sell Tax: Any taxes applied to buying or selling the token

  • Audit Results: Information about security audits of the token

  • Quick Buy: Button to quickly purchase the token

Filtering and Sorting Options

To help you find specific tokens or narrow down your search, the Discovery feature offers several filtering and sorting options:

  1. Click on the "Filter" button to access filtering options

  2. Select your desired criteria (e.g., minimum liquidity, age range)

  3. The table will update to show only tokens that match your criteria

You can also sort the table by clicking on any column header. For example, clicking on "MKT Cap" will sort tokens by market capitalization.

Using Quick Buy

The Quick Buy feature allows you to quickly purchase tokens without navigating to a separate trading interface:

  1. Enable the Quick Buy toggle at the top of the page

  2. Find a token you're interested in

  3. Select a preset amount (0.5, 1, or 5) or enter a custom amount

  4. Click the Quick Buy button in the token's row

  5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet

Reading Token Metrics

Understanding the metrics displayed for each token is crucial for making informed decisions:

Liquidity

Liquidity indicates how easily a token can be bought or sold without significantly affecting its price. Higher liquidity generally means less price slippage when trading.

Market Capitalization

Market cap is calculated by multiplying the token's price by its circulating supply. It gives you an idea of the token's overall value in the market.

Volume

Trading volume shows how much of the token has been traded over a specific period. Higher volume often indicates more active trading and potentially more liquidity.

Buy/Sell Tax

Some tokens implement taxes on buying or selling transactions. These taxes may fund development, marketing, or other aspects of the project. Be aware of these taxes as they affect your effective purchase and sale prices.

Audit Results

Security audits help identify potential vulnerabilities or issues with a token's smart contract. Tokens with positive audit results may be considered less risky, though an audit is not a guarantee of safety.

Best Practices for Using Discovery

To make the most of the Discovery feature:

  1. Research thoroughly: Use the Discovery feature as a starting point, but conduct additional research before investing

  2. Check multiple metrics: Don't rely on a single metric; consider liquidity, market cap, volume, and other factors

  3. Start small: When trying new tokens, consider starting with smaller investments

  4. Use filters: Narrow down options based on your investment criteria

  5. Monitor regularly: Check the Discovery page regularly to find new opportunities

Connecting Your Wallet

To fully utilize the Discovery feature, including Quick Buy functionality, you'll need to connect your wallet to GDEX.pro. Refer to the Getting Started section for instructions on connecting your wallet.

Remember that cryptocurrency investments involve risk, and new tokens can be particularly volatile. Always conduct your own research and only invest what you can afford to lose.
