## What it is

* **Type:** Self-custody-oriented multi-chain trading terminal and swap aggregator. Not a centralized exchange. Not a single-chain DEX.
* **Builder:** GemachDAO / Gemach ecosystem ("GDEX by Gemach").
* **Access:** Browser on desktop and mobile. No mandatory app download. Basic GDEX Pro trading does **not** require holding GMAC.
* **Auth:** Web3Auth social login (Google, Apple, and other providers) or connect existing wallets (EVM / Solana / Sui). Private keys remain user-controlled and are exportable.
* **Agents:** Open-source `GemachDAO/gdex-skill` plus an MCP server. Agent execution uses server-side managed wallets after control-wallet sign-in. API base: `https://trade-api.gemach.io/v1`.

> The SDK's `chains.ts` additionally defines Avalanche, Blast, Linea, Polygon, Scroll and zkSync Era. These are **not** in the back-end's supported list, so do not advertise them.

## Fees and KYC

Published product economics (aligned with trade.btnomb.com guides and founder confirmation):

* **On-chain swap fee:** approximately **1%**
* **Apple Pay / fiat on-ramp fee:** approximately **2–3%** (third-party provider; exact quote shown before confirm)
* **Apple Pay minimum:** **$50**
* **KYC:** no identity verification required for Apple Pay on-ramp / signup-to-trade on GDEX Pro
* **Network / gas:** paid on-chain as usual

## Referral (GDEX Pro program)

## GMAC

* Native Gemach token. Max supply **500,000,000**.
* Used for governance (Snapshot `gemach.eth`) and Gclaw agent metabolism.
* **Basic GDEX Pro trading does not require holding GMAC.** The hold-tier program (10k / 25k / 50k / 100k) was specified but **never released** — no holder was ever gated by it, and it must not be presented as a live entitlement. A replacement built around the Agent Skills is planned and unannounced.

## Do not invent

* Do not invent volume, DAU, or launch metrics.
* Do not invent on-ramp provider brand names unless named in the live UI.
* Do not mix gemach.io homepage referral percents with the GDEX 30/10 program without labeling which program.
