โš–๏ธOur Values

The six core values that guide every product, partnership, and governance decision at Gemach DAO.

1. Self-Custody First

We build every product with the assumption that users own their keys and we never touch their assets. This is not a preference โ€” it is a hard constraint. Web3Auth social login, session keys, and agent-managed wallets are all implemented in ways that preserve user sovereignty. When a new integration or feature would require custodying user funds, we find a different approach or we do not ship it.

2. Community Governance

Gemach is not a company with a product roadmap decided by executives. Protocol parameters, treasury allocation, new product launches, and contributor rewards are decided by GMAC and GLEND holders through on-chain governance. This means the people with the most at stake in the protocol are the ones setting its direction. We invest in governance tooling, transparency, and proposal infrastructure because informed communities make better decisions than closed teams.

3. Radical Transparency

Smart contract addresses are published and verified. Audit reports are publicly linked. Treasury balances are visible on-chain. When something goes wrong โ€” a bug, a failed strategy, a delayed feature โ€” we communicate directly and factually. We do not use marketing language to obscure technical limitations or risks. Users who read our documentation should come away with an accurate mental model of how each product works and what the real risks are.

4. Security by Default

Security is not a feature added at the end โ€” it is the starting assumption for every design decision. Gemach products use audited third-party infrastructure (Enzyme, Liquity, TokenSets, HyperLiquid) rather than untested custom code wherever possible. Session keys use AES-256 encryption. New smart contracts are audited before deployment. We maintain a public list of approved Gemach domains and contract addresses so users can verify they are interacting with legitimate infrastructure.

5. Accessible Innovation

Advanced DeFi capabilities should be available to everyone, not just developers or experienced traders. Every powerful feature we ship also ships with documentation, a beginner path, and a natural-language interface. A user who has never traded crypto before should be able to make their first trade on GDex Pro or through Gemach AI within minutes. Complexity belongs inside the protocol, not in the user experience.

6. Continuous Evolution

DeFi moves fast and Gemach moves with it. New chains, new protocols, new AI capabilities, and new security threats appear constantly. We treat the Gemach ecosystem as a living system that must adapt โ€” adding new chains to GDex Pro as they gain traction, expanding Gclaw's skill library as new on-chain primitives emerge, updating security guidance as threats evolve. The roadmap is a living document, not a fixed plan, because the best products are built iteratively in response to what users actually need.
