Copy-Trading

Copy Trading Feature

The Copy Trading feature on GDEX.pro allows you to automatically replicate the trading strategies of successful traders on the platform, potentially benefiting from their expertise without having to execute trades manually.

Accessing the Copy Trading Feature

The Copy Trading feature is accessible from the main navigation menu at the top of the GDEX.pro interface. Simply click on "COPYTRADE" to access this feature.

Understanding the Copy Trading Interface

The Copy Trading page is divided into two main sections:

  1. TOP TRADERS: The main section displaying a list of traders whose strategies you can copy

  2. Filtering Options: Categories to help you find traders that match your preferences

Key Elements of the Copy Trading Page

The Copy Trading interface includes:

  • Trader Listings: Detailed information about each trader

  • Performance Metrics: Statistics showing each trader's success rate and returns

  • Copy Trade Buttons: Buttons to start copying a specific trader's strategy

  • Filter Categories: Options to filter traders by different criteria

Finding Traders to Copy

GDEX.pro offers several filtering options to help you find traders that match your trading style and goals:

Filter Categories

  • All: Shows all available traders

  • Pumpfun: Traders who focus on pump-style trading strategies

  • Smart Money: Traders who follow smart money movements

  • Popular: Most followed traders on the platform

  • New: Recently added traders to the copy trading feature

  • Sniper: Traders who specialize in quick entry/exit strategies

To use these filters, simply click on the corresponding button at the top of the trader list.

Understanding Trader Performance Metrics

Each trader listing displays comprehensive performance metrics to help you evaluate their trading success:

Key Metrics Explained

  • 1D PNL: One-day profit and loss percentage and amount

  • 7D PNL: Seven-day profit and loss percentage and amount

  • 30D PNL: Thirty-day profit and loss percentage and amount

  • 7D Win Rate: Percentage of winning trades over a 7-day period

  • 7D TXS: Number of transactions in the past 7 days

  • 7D AVG Duration: Average duration of trades over 7 days

  • Last Trade: Timing of the most recent trade

Win/Loss Ratio

The win/loss ratio is displayed as a fraction (e.g., 8/7, 6/5, 5/4) and indicates:

  • The number of winning trades (first number)

  • The number of losing trades (second number)

A higher first number relative to the second indicates a better winning percentage.

Starting to Copy Trade

To begin copy trading:

  1. Browse the list of available traders

  2. Review their performance metrics to find traders that match your risk tolerance and goals

  3. Click the "Copy trade" button next to your chosen trader

  4. Set your copy trading parameters (amount to allocate, risk level, etc.)

  5. Confirm to start copying their trades

Once set up, the system will automatically execute trades matching the selected trader's actions, proportional to your allocated amount.

Managing Your Copy Trading

After you've started copy trading, you can manage your settings and monitor performance:

Monitoring Performance

  • Track the performance of your copied trades

  • Compare results with the original trader's performance

  • Analyze which strategies are working best for you

Adjusting Settings

You can adjust your copy trading settings at any time:

  • Change the amount allocated to copying a specific trader

  • Modify risk parameters

  • Pause or stop copy trading if needed

Risk Management

Copy trading, like all trading activities, involves risk. Consider these risk management strategies:

  1. Diversify: Consider copying multiple traders with different strategies

  2. Start Small: Begin with smaller amounts until you're comfortable with the process

  3. Regular Review: Periodically review the performance of traders you're copying

  4. Set Limits: Define maximum loss thresholds that will trigger automatic stopping

Best Practices for Copy Trading

To make the most of the Copy Trading feature:

  1. Research Traders: Look beyond just recent performance; consider consistency over time

  2. Understand Strategies: Try to understand the strategies of traders you're copying

  3. Be Patient: Trading results can vary in the short term; give strategies time to work

  4. Stay Informed: Keep up with market conditions that might affect trading strategies

  5. Use Proper Allocation: Only allocate funds you can afford to risk

Connecting Your Wallet

To use the Copy Trading feature, you'll need to connect your wallet to GDEX.pro. Refer to the Getting Started section for instructions on connecting your wallet.

Copy Trading offers an excellent way for beginners to benefit from experienced traders' knowledge and for busy investors to maintain active trading strategies without constant monitoring.
